In August 2019, my friends and I planned a birding safari in Kenya. It was a spontaneous decision made over drinks, with Mark handling the reservations. On August 24, we flew from Hungary to Nairobi. Our guide, Emmy from Ranger Africa Safaris, greeted us at the airport.

The first day began at Nairobi National Park, where we enjoyed birds, wildlife, and incredible views. We spotted over 50 bird species during a day well spent. The following morning, we traveled to Maasai Land. Ranger Africa Safaris made our dream adventure come true. We aimed to discover new bird species and successfully identified over 300, thanks to Emmy’s expertise in bird calls.
Next, we explored Mount Kenya. After a restful night at camp, we visited the national park’s headquarters to obtain wildlife tickets. Our goal was clear—to spot new and amazing bird species. From there, we ventured to Tsavo National Park, where we encountered several first-time sightings.
Kenya is a land of extraordinary wildlife, breathtaking nature, and warm, friendly people. Thanks to Ranger Africa Safaris, our birding quest was a resounding success. We eagerly anticipate another fortnight in this enchanting destination
